Training
Trauma Informed Practice
Our most popular offering – this training is available in both full day and half day format. Trauma Informed Practice has become a must in every industry. We also recognize that trauma informed practice means something different for health care workers than it does for educators, so we provide industry specific training that is tailored to the organization we present it for.
Diversity 101
This half day workshop explores how to create a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse populations. In this era of expanding globalism and social justice movements, we are interacting with more people who differ from us in any number of ways than ever before. This workshop will examine how to create organizational inclusion that covers race, gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, immigration, ability, culture and more as well as navigating difficult conversations about sensitive topics and understanding human rights and resources legislation.
Vicarious Trauma and Burnout
This half day workshop is designed for professionals who hear stories of trauma and tragedy in the course of the job. Medical professionals, police officers, addiction workers, social workers, shelter workers, corrections workers – you’ve heard it all. And it can get to be too much. Protect your own wellbeing by learning the signs of vicarious trauma and burnout. This workshop will help you to identify when and how you are being affected and put strategies in place to protect your own mental health, so you can continue in the work you love.
Note: Training prices listed are a guideline only, rates will be developed with corporate and non profit clients and set according to the specific needs of each contracted opportunity.
